Redding to Red Bluff

The Lower Sacramento River (Lower Sac) is without a doubt one of the country’s finest tailwater trout fisheries.

Flowing out of Lake Shasta, the water temperatures stay cold all year providing great fishing opportunities twelve months a year.

The trout in the Sac are fat, healthy, hardy and plentiful. During the prime seasons fishing can be world-class!

With over thirty miles of fishable water, there are several floats to choose from depending on the time of year. While fishing from a drift boat we will cover vast amounts of water in search of trout and steelhead.

Steelhead enter the Sac in the fall in good numbers and can be found in the lower reaches of the river. Fall is a great time to book a guided trip and fish for steelhead while catching trout.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to fish the Lower Sac yet, book a trip now, it may be one of your greatest experiences.
